| What got you hooked on Uilleann Pipes | For many years I had been interested in pursuing Uilleann pipes but had no idea how or where or what to look for, until the Scottish Irish Festival at Estes Park last September 2003 where I met Eric Olson. He kindly invited me to the first ever RMUPC meeting. And the rest is history. |

| What got you hooked on Uilleann Pipes | I had heard them before in different recordings and movies. The sweetness and emotive qualities of the sound are unique and compelling. When I was finally introduced to the instrument, I was totally obsessed to learn more about them and the more I learned the more I loved everything about them. |

| What got you hooked on Uilleann Pipes | I used to play the Highland Pipes (war pipes) and found that the Uilleann Pipes were far more versatile, musically, and the emotive sounds that can be made with the up was what got me hooked on them. |
